Janet graduated with a degree in Fine Art from Falmouth School of Art and Design in 1992.
Since then she has continued to work as a Visual Artist and teacher.
She has exhibited her work in many group and solo exhibitions in the United Kingdom, Sri Lanka , Brunei and Switzerland.
Her work is focused on personal experience of the people and places she has encountered. She draws inspiration from repeated pattern, music, architecture and nature.
Her pieces are mixed media in origin and are distinctive by their use of vibrant, happy colours.
Janet has recently returned from living in Switzerland and now lives in Saltburn.
