Nicola lives in Whitby with her family.
She became interested in art at high school and went on to study at Scarborough for a BTec qualification in art and design followed by a BTec in graphic design.
It was during her maternity leave that she started drawing and painting again.
Her prinicpal medium is watercolour and she loves colourful art, as can be seen from her work.
Animals are her main study.
She uses art as an escape and hopes her happy pictures put a smile on customers' faces.
