Paul lives in South Yorkshire and started his career as a hairdresser. In 2016 he took up painting and has not looked back. His decision to swap careers has won him awards and critical acclaim for his work.
The paintings, in watercolour / mixed media or acrylics, seek out the quiet, unspoilt places of our past, present and our futures. Often recognisable but not constrained by unwanted detail.
Painting all the seasons Paul captures the mood, feel and, most of all, the light. His style is refreshing, distinctive and contemporary.
His greatest pleasure is seeing his work take its place on the wall of a new home.
